Why is the water park the heart of the holiday?
Imagine sliding into the water after a sunny day, letting yourself be enveloped by a lagoon with bubbling currents that soothes the body and melts away every tension. The water complex at Camping Les Sables is not simply a pool: it's a small universe of relaxation, made up of a mini balneo area, sauna, hammam, spa, umbrella jet, and a mini waterfall that caresses the skin. Lying on the anatomical benches, between one swim and another, here time seems to stand still: the heated indoor pool offers moments of wellness even outside the season, while a lifeguard watches over your relaxation during the summer months.
What makes the slides and wellness area unique?
Three slides. Three different emotions. The first: a sequence of tight curves sixty metres long, perfect for those who love pure fun. The second, the "kamikaze": an adrenaline-fuelled descent for the bravest. The third, the "pentaglisse": a suspense-filled water race. For the little ones there's the Aquatoon, separate from the main pool and designed especially for them. Big and small alike find their own space here.
A pool to enjoy even in the evening, why stop at sunset?
The pleasure of the water here doesn't follow strict hours: the pool awaits you from 10am to 6pm in low season, and until 8pm in July and August, so you can enjoy the sun until late in the day. And for those who don't want to give up the fun even after dinner, every Saturday in summer a delightful night swim is organised, from 9pm to 11pm: a dip under the stars, in a unique atmosphere that transforms the pool into a magical place, different from the one enjoyed under the sun.
What does the facility offer besides the pool?
Camping Les Sables, 4 stars, is located on the outskirts of La Rochelle, in Charente-Maritime, on a surface area of 5.5 hectares. It has a total of 299 pitches, including 98 rental pitches and 137 bare pitches; the latter are also accessible to people with reduced mobility, as are 2 dedicated rental pitches. Pets are allowed, with the exception of category 1 and 2 dogs. The facility also has a multisport field, a children's play area, an outdoor fitness area, multilingual reception, and a small grocery shop for all your needs.
