- Question: How many people visit camping.de each day?
Answer: Over 1.000 dedicated, single visitors are counted each day. That sums up to about 35.000 visitors each month. Technically spoken, such a visit starts with the first loading of a page and ends, when no more pages are loaded by a single visitor for over 1 hour. So, we deal with real visitors, not site/page impression/hits. That said: we have a quarter of a million page impressions each month...
- Question: Is camping.de truely independant or can one buy the search results (paid inclusion)?
Answer: Fortunately, eCamp is and remains independant. Of course, this service is paid by advertising clients to make the platform free of charge to regular users. But, thanks to german law as defined in UWG, MdSt und TDG, ads need to be marked with "Anzeige" or "Advertising". If you see search results in our directory, they are neutral, except the ones marked accordingly. In other words: There is no way to improve neighter eCamp-Rating nor search results' ranking by money. And there won't be any in the future.
- Question: How can i improve my eCamp-Rating?
Answer: Fill in the detail questionaire available online. You can not improve further if the data you have entered is correctly and completely. Your camping-site will we re-rated with the next update process and will improve, if your site got better compared to others. An editors hint: Your data needs to be accurate. Do not exaggerate or offer services you can't offer to real guest. First of all, your guest will be disappointed, thus makes you loosing him as a client. And secondly, we will ban your camping-site from eCamp-Rating for live, if we trap you cheating on others.
- Question: Where has the old eCamp has gone?
Answer: After 10 years and an endless stream of visitors, she has retired and is now living in a southern country enjoying numerous cocktails under the sun. However, we can forward you messages to to eCamp V1.0 if contact our editors staff.
