Panoramio
In the detail view of camping.de we show pictures of the online service "panoramio.com". By doing so we like to give our guests the opportuinity not only to see pictures from the campsite but also from the surrounding environment as well. To complete the data we also show Google Maps and Google Street View where available.The continuing success of camping.de brings more and more mails and telephone calls by single persons or companies accusing us of illegaly using their pictures. To get this straight: As a software company we feel obliged to fulfill copyright laws. That said camping.de uses all pictures of panoramio.com under full compliance of the terms of the panoramio data api and is not breaking any copyright laws.
If you tell us your panoramio user id (the long number in the URL after you log on: http://www.panoramio.com/user/1234568), we will voluntarily remove your pictures.
Please refrain from starting sensless law suits (please read the panoramio licenses terms!), insulting us via mail or telephone or trying other funny things - this simply does not help anybody.
